Macが壊れてあたふた・・・ I was in a hurry owing because my MacBook was broken.

沖縄出張中にMacBookが壊れてしまいました。
電源を入れても、画面が暗いままなのです。
My MacBook was broken while my Okinawa Trip.
The screen of that was still black after pushing the power switch.

あわてて、iPhoneからサポートセンターへコンタクト。
なんと１分待たずに電話がかかってきました。
状況を説明して、何個か改善策を試してみるものの、
状況は改善せず。
修理を請け負ってくれる場所はさすがに石垣島にはなく、
那覇なら有ると言うことで、とりあえず予約しました。
I contacted the Apple support center through my iPhone in a hurry.
To my surprise, I got the return calling within 1 minute!
I explained the situation of my MacBook and I managed to repair with the advice of support center operator.
But it finally was not clearing up the problem.
There were no direct service branch of Apple in Ishigaki, and I reserved at the Naha branch after a few days after.

で、那覇のカメラのキタムラさんの修理センター（アップルの正式な修理代理店）に。
その場ではやはり修理は無理なようで、
結局大阪に帰ってからAppleストアのジーニアスバーの予約を取って行くことに。
Then I called on the Naha Branch (CAMERA NO KITAMURA, Apple service provider).
The service man said that it needed to repair in a few days.
Finally, I booked another reservation at the Apple Store Genius Bar in Osaka.

ただ、そこで教えてもらったのは、画面は映らないけど、
外部出力を使ってモニタに出力することはできますよ、
と良い情報を。
ホテルの部屋に帰ってHDMIでつないでみると、確かに画面には映りました。
But I got a useful advice that I could watch the screen through the outside connection.
After I returned the hotel and connect the TV through HDMI, I could watch the screen.

しかし、修理にいくらくらいかかるのかを確認してみると、
・本当に軽微な修理の場合は、３万３千円くらい
・基本料金は６万円くらい
・万が一マザーボードに支障が生じている場合などは９万円くらい
・・・うーーーーん、買い換えるよりは安いとはいえ、すごい金額です。
（後で調べましたら、代理店さんよりもApple直の方が若干安いみたいです。）
When I called on the service provider, I heard the price of repair my MacBook,
・Simply repair : about33000JPY
・Basic Repair : about60000JPY
・Fully Repair (Mother board broken) : about90000JPY
...Wow, it's a high price, if it's reasonable comparing with the buying new one.
(After my research, It's a little low price if it's directly to Apple.)

その間ずっとパソコンが使えず、
お客様とのメールのやりとりもiPhoneでなんとか代行、
ホームページの更新もできないので、
予約状況を急遽iPhoneでも対応できるブログに変更するなど、
なんとかしのいでいたのですが・・・。
For a while, I could not use my MacBook,
I managed to send e-mail with my customer by iPhone (It's very hard.)
I could not update my homepages also, I managed to update on this blog...

修理料金を考えると、そろそろ買い換えた方が良いのかな・・・
などといろいろ考えあぐねておりました。
にしても、すでにこのMacbook、購入してから２年以上。
それでもAppleのサポートは迅速対応ですばらしいなぁ。
と感心してしまいました。
（AppleStoreのGeniusBarは２〜３日後しか無理なことが多いですが・・・）
I considered buying the new MacBook or not...
It's already passed more than 2 years since I got this MacBook,
But I got a superb support from the Apple.

さて、その後どうなったのでしょう？
もったいぶって続けます（笑）
