ステーキとアイスホッケー観戦！ シカゴ散歩その２ Having Steak and Wtching NHL game -strolling in Chicago 2

前回に続いて、シカゴ散策のお話です。
シカゴ、大阪と姉妹都市提携を結んでいたのですね。
空港の通路で国旗を見つけました。
Following the previous topic, this topic is also about strolling in Chicago.
Chicago and Osaka have been sister cities since 1973,
I found this at the Chicago Airport.


天気が今一つだったのですが、ミシガン湖に散歩がてら行ってみますと、
こんな水鳥が歩いてました。
ちょうど湖から上がったところの様子。
It was not clear weather, but I met the birds walking around Michigan Lake.
They just jump up from the Lake.


シカゴ、ステーキも有名ということで、食べに行きました。
夜にアイスホッケー観戦が控えていたので、なかなか食べれる店がなかったのですが、
JOE'Sさんというお店がお昼でもステーキをやっているということで。
JOE'Sさん、ステーキよりも海産物系がおすすめのようなメニュー構成でしたが・・・。
うん、食べやすくておいしいステーキでした。
Beef steak is very famous foods in Chicago, I tried to eat.
But I have a schedule of NHL viewing at that night time,
There is not so much restaurant at the lunch time.
I found the restaurant JOE'S and I tried a beef steak.
It was a really delicious steak.
It was recommended various seafoods...


そして夜は町の少しはずれにあるユナイテッドセンターへアイスホッケーの試合観戦に。
アイスホッケー、ルールも選手も全く知りませんが、
全然違う知り合い２人から「是非冬に行くならホッケーに！」と勧められて、
そこまでお勧めされるなら・・・ということで、ネットでチケットを購入して行ってきました。
会場は満席、ホッケー人気のすごさが伝わってきました。
And I visited UNITED CENTER which located outside of the epicenter of the town of Chicago for watching the NHL game.
I don't know the rules and players of Ice hockey,
But my 2 acquaintances recommended to watch the game if I visited Chicago in winter,
And I procured the ticket on the web and visited.
UNITED CENTER was full seating, I felt the popularity of the NHL games.


最初に国歌斉唱。
この日はシカゴのブラックホークスとカナダ・バンクーバーのカナックスの試合で、
カナダ国歌、次にアメリカ国家の順番で、なんと同じ人が２曲歌ってました。
アメリカ国家のはじまった時の会場の盛り上がりようといえば、すごかったです。
会場、ブラックホークスファンで真っ赤に埋め尽くされ、
うわー、カナックスの選手やりにくそう・・・！
At first, we had a singing National songs of Canada and US.
The turn was Canada song, US song the same singer sang the 2songs.
When he sings US national song, the people in the stadium were very excited.
The stadium was filled with Red color, the color of the Chicago Blackhawks,
I felt that Vancouver Canucks players felt the pressure at the adversary place.


この写真は、試合開始直前の練習風景ですが、
試合が始まると、かなり熱中して見てしまいました。
アイスホッケー、氷の上でやるので、なかなか思うようにパック（ボール）を操れないし、
壁に跳ね返してプレイしたり、フェイントかけたり、
激しくぶつかり合ったり・・・面白い！！！
ゴールが決まると、会場はかなりの熱気！
ビール片手に、Let's Go Hawks！と掛け声をかけて、
楽しく観戦しているのが非常に印象的でした。
This picture is training time that was before starting the game.
After starting the game, I was concentrating the game.
Because of the game playing on the ice, it is hard to manage the pack(ball),
And they sometimes tried to use the wall, doing faint play, collison each other...
That's fun!!!
Many people enjoyed watching the game with a cup of beer, and saying "Let's Go Hawks!".

試合はブラックホークスの完勝。
カナックス、得点できずでした・・・。
もし機会があれば、今度はカナダで見てみたいです。
The game resulted in the triumph of Blackhawks.
Canucks could not get a score...
If I have a chance, next time I hope to watch the game in Canada.
